About
Meet your therapist
I'm Jen, a massage therapist based in Berwick-upon-Tweed, offering treatments designed to help you slow down, release tension and feel more at ease in your body.
After a career in architecture, I retrained in massage therapy with a growing interest in how stress is held in the body, and how thoughtfully designed spaces can support rest and recovery.
The Reset Room brings these two worlds together - attentive touch and a carefully designed environment created to help you feel supported, comfortable and at ease.
My work is centred around creating space for rest, both physically and mentally, supporting you to step away from everyday demands and reconnect with your body.
Every person arrives differently.
Some people are carrying physical tension, others are feeling mentally overwhelmed, and many simply haven't taken time for themselves in a long while.
Rather than following the same routine every time, I adapt each treatment around how you are feeling on the day - adjusting the pressure, pace and focus of the massage to suit your individual needs.
Whether you need deeper work to ease muscular tension or a slower, restorative treatment, every massage is tailored to you.
My aim is simple: to create a calm, welcoming space where you can fully relax, reconnect with your body, and experience a sense of ease - both physically and mentally.
My approach
Training & professional practice
I hold a Diploma in Therapeutic Massage, with additional training in Deep Tissue and Advanced Massage techniques, as well as a Diploma in Oncology Massage.
My training has shaped a thoughtful and adaptable approach to massage, allowing each treatment to be tailored safely around the individual.
The Reset Room is professionally insured, and every appointment begins with a confidential consultation so your treatment can be appropriately tailored around your individual needs.
“The treatment space was peaceful and calming, and I always felt completely at ease in her hands. Jen was attentive throughout each session, checking in regularly and adjusting pressure where needed."
