Thank you for choosing The Reset Room.

These guidelines help ensure every appointment runs smoothly and that each client receives a calm, professional and personalised experience.

Booking your appointment

Appointments can be booked online or by contacting The Reset Room directly.

When booking your appointment, you will receive confirmation of your treatment details and any information needed before your visit.

A £15 deposit is required to secure your appointment. This will be deducted from the remaining treatment balance on the day.

Your health & consultation

Before your appointment, you will be asked to complete a confidential consultation form. This helps me understand your health, lifestyle and any areas of concern before your treatment.

We will review this together at the beginning of your appointment, allowing time to discuss any questions or preferences before your massage begins.

Your treatment will then be adapted around your individual needs and how you are feeling on the day.

Please ensure the information provided is accurate and let me know if anything changes before your appointment.

Consent & comfort

You are in control of your treatment at all times. You can ask questions, request adjustments or ask for the treatment to pause or stop at any point.

Draping & modesty

Clients are asked to remain in underwear during massage treatments. You will be appropriately draped throughout the treatment, with only the area being worked on uncovered.

Arrival

Please arrive at your appointment time.

As The Reset Room is a private home-based studio, arriving too early may not always be possible while the space is being prepared or another client is finishing their appointment.

If you arrive late, your treatment time may need to be shortened to ensure the next appointment can run as planned.

Arrivals more than 15 minutes late may mean there isn’t enough time for the treatment to go ahead as planned, and the deposit will be forfeited.

Payment

The remaining balance is payable following your treatment by card, bank transfer or cash.

Gift vouchers

Gift vouchers are available for The Reset treatment only.

  • Valid for six months from the date of purchase.

  • Redeemable against The Reset (90min full-body massage) only.

  • Non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

  • Standard cancellation terms apply when redeeming a voucher.

Cancellations & rescheduling

Appointments are reserved especially for you, so please provide at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. This allows me enough time to offer the appointment to another client.

If you’re feeling unwell, particularly with cold or flu symptoms, please let me know as soon as possible. I’ll always do my best to find another appointment time that supports both your health and mine.

Cancellations or rescheduling with less than 48 hours’ notice, and failure to attend an appointment, will result in forfeiture of your £15 deposit.

By booking an appointment, you agree to these cancellation and rescheduling terms.

Professional practice

The Reset Room provides professional therapeutic massage in a safe, respectful and welcoming environment.

Treatments are designed to support relaxation, ease physical tension and promote wellbeing. Massage is not a substitute for medical advice or treatment.

Inappropriate, sexual, threatening or abusive behaviour will not be tolerated and will result in the treatment ending immediately.

Treatment may also be declined or ended if a client arrives under the influence of alcohol or recreational drugs, or if treatment cannot be carried out safely or professionally.
